Pet rehoming is for individuals and rescue groups looking to help find a forever home for a pet. We appreciate the work of responsible Breeders, however, we wish this site to be free from Breeders' posts as we seek to find homes for pets that have been lost or abandoned vs. pets that were planned for profit. Thank you for understanding and respecting our Terms.

Ideally, a pet rehome fee will be much lower if a pet is not up-to-date on their shots and/or have not yet been spayed or neutered.

I have two dogs that I'd like to rehome.

The first is a 1-2 years old spayed female. I rescued her from death row about 5 weeks ago. She's about 45 pounds, housebroken, and walks on a loose leash. She loves other dogs, and gets along with them well. She's affectionate and very sweet. She's white and tan, with lots of freckles on her body.

The second is a little boy, about 6-8 months old. I just rescued him from a gassing shelter, where he was on the urgent list. He's NOT neutered yet, but is UTD on shots. He has a back leg that's been broken, although it's since set, and the vet says that it causes him no pain. He has other signs of previous trauma, but is a sweet and loving little boy. He's catahoula mix, dappled black and brown, with one brown eye and one blue. Very pretty and unusual-looking.

I posted this on fosters as well, hoping to find something. I am helping a family find a home for a female dachshund mix. She, her puppies, and the male I took in were abused and abandoned by their previous owner. She is active and loves other animals. She is NOT spayed and from their conditions I can be sure she needs her shots. The family that has her has dogs of their own and are being very selective with the puppies as everyone wants them, but no one is answering for the female. I live in a small apartment and cannot do two dogs there... The family is offering her for free as she needs a lot of TLC. She has some hairloss we think due to malnutrition and trying to keep the puppies up as well. She really needs a home. If you can, call me or text at 214-254-7933 or just answer to this. I have the male and have not seen any parasites as fleas or anything so I know she doesn't have them either.

I rescued this beautiful and sweet girl a few months ago. She is up to date on shots, been heart worm checked and free of the illness. She is scheduled to be spayed June 1. Her re homing fee will be the cost of the spaying ($50.00). She loves my furever boy, Brahma (whom I also rescued in 2005) and plays and plays with him and my daughter's three dogs. I want her to be in the best home ever. She is very loving and friendly to all humans. She gets on well with other dogs once introduced. In our home, she is territorial at first to new dogs, but warms up once she is redirected with time out. I must find her the best home ever before October. Thanks for considering Greta.

I need to find that special forever home for my 2 sweet kitties!!! Elsie is a grey tabby who is approximately 7 years old. We rescued she and her brothers and sister after it appeared that they had lost their mother. Elsie is so sweet, loves to cuddle, and has a very fun and mischievous personality!!. She has been spayed and declawed. The vet and I decided that she did not need yearly vaccinations since she has NEVER been outside. The new owner must agree to continue not letting her go outside as she would be helpless without any claws to protect herself. Her sister, Athena, but we call her Tina has to be the fattest cat ever!!!LOL Believe it or not, she was the runt of the litter. I also wonder if she isn't a little slow in the brain or if she is actually extremely INTELLIGENT!!! She would be happy just sitting in someones lap continually with the occasional food break. However, be warned, your legs will go numb after just a little while!!LOL Tina is very stubborn. When she wants something she will annoy you until you give it to her. She also loves to cuddle and sleep with you. Literally, under the covers and her head on your pillow. She is a calico.

I would be open to placing them in 2 different homes if they were the right homes. My circumstances have become quite sad very fast and I really need to make sure my babies will be OK for the rest of their lives. Thank you for your time.

My wife, Anita and I, moved from Nevada, Texas in 2007 to open a Rock and Mineral Shop in Mount Ida, AR, the Quartz Crystal Capital of the World. Our dog, Jade, a tan with white blaze on chest Shar Pei/Pit mix,has become too possessive and protective of us and gets very anxious with other people. She has never hurt anyone, but we are getting too "mature" to effectively handle her, so we need to find her another home. She warms up to new people after about a week of exposure to them and then becomes a 80 pound lap dog with them. She just needs an owner that is firm and loving. We will deliver her anywhere in Texas with her kennel. She is 4 years old, is spayed and has all her shots. Never been sick. She was trained by Roger Miles at Ponderosa Pet Ranch in Royse City, Texas in 2007 and responds well to "Sit, Stay, Down, Come commands and is house broken. We fear someone adopting her for the wrong reasons as she could possibly be trained in an entirely other direction. Plus we really dread putting her down just because we are unable handle her. Please help. if you can.

PS. We rescued a gentle Sharpei, "Lucky", after the serious tornado that hit Mena, AR last spring. He is easier for us to handle and extremely gentle, slow moving neutered playmate.

My husband and I will soon be relocating toverseas to take a job. Unfortunately, we cannot take our pets. We have two little dogs...Jake is a Chiweenie weighing 7 lbs., neutered, and 3 years old. Molly is a 3 year old female Rat Terrier, weighing 8 lbs. She has not been spayed and has never had puppies. They have been raised together, They are used to apartment life, and are rather scared of children. They are very cuddly and travel well in a car. They are housebroken. We dearly love our babies...adn it is breaking our hearts to let them go, so we will not rehome them separately, nor will we allow them to be adopted by a family with small children...a couple with older teens or a couple without children or a single person would be best. I could tell you so much more....but suffice it to say, we only want the best possible home for them.
