What is a Group?
A group provides the opportunity for people to read and discuss
specific issues. Groups differ from Forum discussions in two key
ways: one, they require membership to post and two, there will be
several discussion threads within one Group; you can participate by
posting comments, asking questions, and sharing experiences, as
well as providing web links to related topics, photos, and other
documents to share with the members of the Group.
How do I join a Group?
To browse the network's groups, go to the
Groups sub-menu
tab, found under the
Community tab at the top of the page.
If the group is public, there will be a link in the top right of
the page where you can join the group.
If the group is private, you can send a request for an invitation
to the group admin from the group's page.
Who can read my Group posts?
If a Group is set to public, anyone with internet access can read
them. If a Group is Private, only the members of that group can
read them.
